Kyle Denney is a graduate of Musicians Institute, in Hollywood California, where he studied with session greats Steve Houghton, Ralph Humphrey, Joe Porcaro, and Curt Bisquera, ranging in styles from jazz, fusion and latin to rock, funk and pop. After graduating MI, Kyle performed with several bands at famed Los Angeles night clubs The Whiskey, Gazzari’s and The Roxy. He later returned to Texas to record and perform with bands in Austin and Dallas. While in Dallas Kyle received his degree in audio engineering from Cedar Valley College.

Kyle built a drum recording studio from his home where he offers drum tracks for singer/songwriters and bands. He has performed extensively in Dallas and Fort Worth with Coverband for private and corporate events. Kyle regularly plays with the praise band at Dallas Bible Church. He has recorded and performed with Hand Drawn Records artist Cut Throat Finches from Fort Worth, Texas.

Jon has built several drums for me, re-wrapped drums, fixed bearing edges and whatever else I can dream up…Jon will make it happen. He builds exceptional drums at very affordable prices and they sound amazing. My go to snare is my Dallas Drum Black Brass 6.5×14. It really can do everything I need in the studio and live, a very versatile drum.
