Ramiro DeLoza
When I was in middle school I received my first drum set from my father. I began taking lessons under Daniel Lopez, a drummer I have looked up to since I was a young boy. Despite breaking my right hand, I continued to play with the sticks in my cast as my motivation to learn remained. There was a period then after when I walked away from drumming but reignited my love for playing my senior year of high school. I decided to pursue drumming by auditioning at the King’s University Gateway in Southlake, Texas. I have since earned my Associates Degree in worship leadership, with drums as my primary, and am currently pursuing a Bachelors Degree in Media Arts. I took time of school as I had the opportunity to tour with Circuit Riders on the Carry the Love tour where I learned a lot not only about drumming but about ministering to the heart of God. Currently I drum and serve at Create Church in Richardson, Texas under David Porcheddu, our worship leader. I am fortunate enough to have a drum room at home where I love to host jam sessions and create music with friends. I also love any opportunity to play out in new environments and meet musicians.
